In 2017 Ukrainian league welcomes new member – “West Side” team (Rivne city). In 2012, team was called “Rivne Eagles” and took part in the Cup of Ukraine. From 2013 to 2016, team was called “Ostroh”.

In 2015 it was founded another team “High Castle” (Dubno city) which is like “Ostroh” took part in the Cup of Ukraine. “West Side” team was formed from these two teams. Eugene Chernohorskyy became the main initiator of such sport alliance. Players of the team are primarily young promising players and also those ones who were unable for various reasons to reach the highest levels of Ukrainian baseball. In 2017 the team’s roster also was added with players from “Zahidnyy Vohon” who could not reach the first team roster.
