«East Vikings» is a baseball team from Kharkiv. But it is not a new team. Until the last playing season it was «First Capitals» baseball team. This year the team’s name was changed. Still it is called «East Vikings».

Team’s roster also was changed. But it can be seen many players from the former «First Capitals» in the new «East Vikings». It is rather strong and successful Ukrainian team. Due to persistence and great game former «First Capitals» baseball players managed to reach Division B, where they play along with other strong teams of the country. Thus, fans hope the new «East Vikings» will show great results in the new season. In 2012, several of «First Capitals» players took part in the Ukrainian Baseball Championship playing in «Poltava» team. Today former «First Capitals» team takes part in all Ukrainian Baseball Championships.

«East Vikings» will continue and improve achievements of the «First Capitals» baseball club.
