Andre Lachance will lecture during the DBV Convention Congress
During the DBV Convention Congress which will be held in Paderborn city 13 -15 of January, one can visit interesting lectures by famous baseball coaches and players of our time. Andre Lachance will be one of lecturers. He has been working with Canadian Baseball Association since 2001. Andre is responsible for the entire baseball field in the country. Also he is a coach of the national women’s baseball team (Canada). As a professor of the Ottawa University, Lachance also in charge of training coaches, in addition, he has played the main role in the development of the Canadian Baseball Association program – «Long Term Athlete Development» (LTAD).
The LTAD program aims to provide balanced trainings for athletes, from kindergarten to adulthood, in order to give players the opportunity to disclose all their talents and to make sport part of their life. The program is divided into few different phases which contain advices on the most important issues for athletes of various ages. Among the other lecturers who will also speak at the Convention one can see Tom O’connell, Andre Lašans, Martin Ullì, Helmig Vermouth, Troy Williams and Martejn Najhoff.
