Olympia Haarlem has won the European Cup Winners Cup in Ostrava, Czech Republic. In the championship game on Saturday they defeated BSC Legnano 5-4 in a thrilling game. Rachel van Veen decided the outcome with a two-run home run in the seventh and last inning. Legnano had erased a 0-3 deficit with a four-run fifth. The Brasschaat Braves with Lindsey Meadows-Oosterveld as pitcher finished in third place ahead of the Therwil Flyers.
