Elections to the Executive Board was on the agenda during the meeting of Swiss baseball and softball association 2016.The President Georges Gladig, the head of the finance department Monique Schmitt, the head of elite sport Chris Palatinus and the head of physical education department Kurt Reinhard have been re-elected. Unfortunately, position of the head of game process is still vacant. This position temporary is held by Bettina Burri but soon she will need to resign. Department of Mass Sport is headed by René Thommen. Position of the head of marketing department is also still vacant. Thus the following 2 years the Executive Board of Swiss baseball and softball association will consist of:

Also during the general meeting the budget of 2017 and issues for the Association have unanimously been agreed for the next period. José Beier was honored as a long-term umpire, the baseball club “Bern Cardinals” was honored in occasion of 30-year anniversary and also Carlo Brot, the member of organizing committee of “Hünenberg Unicorns” for the excellent organization of the U-15 European Championship 2016.
