Ukrainian Baseball Cup
Last weekend in Kropyvnytskyi city the first three games of the final series of the Ukrainian Baseball Super Cup were held. Two strong teams met on the local field. “Diamant” and «BioTexCom» teams have played. “BioTexCom” is a quite strong baseball team. Nevertheless players of “Diamant” do not take the game lying down. Games were ended with the following – scores 2-5; 2-4; 4-2. The score in the series is 1 – 2.
By chance, I was in this city during the Baseball Cup games. I was surprised to say the truth… First of all I can say these guys really enjoy baseball. They have no normal field to play, they have no great form. Nevertheless, they play and win. Yes, they win at home. But, you know, they just have no money to participate in international championships. But they play really great! I saw the match. Of course, it is not European or world level. I was on the field during some great games with my hubby. Thus I realize the difference. But, Ukrainians try their best. Someday maybe they will reach the goal.
