“Astros Valencia” on verge of winning first Division de Honor Title
The Spanish Division de Honor is playing its last game day of the 2016 season this coming weekend. Four sets of two-game series are on the schedule. The “Astros Valencia” are currently leading the standings. They are tied with the “Tenerife Marlins” with a 22-4 record, but own the tie-breaker. The “Astros” host CB “Viladecans” for two games and would win the championship with a pair of wins. “Tenerife” meanwhile looks for a sweep against CD “Pamplona”, while also hoping for a “Viladecans” victory in “Valencia”. Otherwise the defending champion will be dethroned.
