Israel will face Great Britain for a spot in the finals.

Israel shut out Brazil, 1-0, in a pitchers’ duel between the two favorites in the Brooklyn qualifier for the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Team Israel is right back where it was four years ago, one win away from advancing to the World Baseball Classic, and now it’s up to them to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.  The winner of this Qualifier will head to the main tournament and will play in Group B in Seoul, South Korea in which they will face South Korea, Chinese Taipei and Kingdom of the Netherlands.
