The annual international youth baseball tournament “Vilnius Cup” took place in Vilnius (Lithuania) on December 27-29, 2019.

Organized by the Lithuanian Baseball Association, the tournament saw the participation of 29 teams: 16 teams in the U15 group and 13 teams in the U12 group. Around 350 young girls and boys from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Poland, Estonia, and Lithuania fought for victory in this tournament of the beloved American sport – baseball.

Team from Vilnius (“SM Tauras”) won the U12 tournament, leaving teams from Russia and Ukraine, respectively, behind their backs. Ukrainian girls from the “Lady Kozak” team took third place, and Ukrainian boys from the “Darnitsa Tigers” became fourth. The U15 tournament was won by a team from Russia (“Balashika Tigers”), while local Vilnius “SM Tauras” team came in second. Team from Ukraine (“Kropyvnytskyi NBLL”) took the third place in this age category.
