All 12 teams for the “European Championship 2019” in Bonn and Solingen, Germany (September 7 to 15) are finally set. Israel players punched the last ticket and it will be the first-ever participation at a European Championship for them.

They are slotted into Pool “A” together with defending champion Netherlands, host Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, and Sweden. In turn, Pool “B” consists of teams from Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, Croatia, and Austria.

The European Championship 2019 has an important status. After baseball and softball become part of the Olympics again in Tokyo 2020, the tournament is the first part of the Olympic qualifier.
