Dutch Hoofdklasse Playoffs: L&D Amsterdam, Curacao Neptunus win high-scoring games
The Dutch Hoofdklasse semifinal round robin continued with two more make-up dates.
Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam overcame an 0-8 deficit to beat the Hoofddorp Pioniers 13-8. Curacao Neptunus scored seven runs in the seventh and six in the eighth to complete the comeback. Meanwhile L&D Amsterdam won an extra-inning thriller 9-8 over HCAW.
L&D Amsterdam and Curacao Neptunus are already qualified for the Holland Series. Prior to the championship finals however they will meet in a three-game series to round up the semifinal round robin in the Dutch Hoofdklasse this coming weekend.
