Ukrainian National baseball team has gained its second win at the European Championship U23.

In the first duel of the group “E” (where four teams which took the third places in their groups played) the Ukrainian team defeated Russian opponents 10:7 in score.

At the very beginning Ukrainian players took lead in score with 0:2 in the 3^rd inning and finished the game with 3:2 in their favor. Ukrainians held the lead until the last inning. Twice opposing team leveled the score so the advantage of the Ukrainian players ranged from 4 to 1 point.

Kostyantyn Chukhas showed great results in offence by completing 4 hits for 5 (double and triple which is 3RBI in total). Generally, Ukrainian betters demonstrated highly professional game. And for the young 16-year-old pitcher Andriy Boiko it was the first win over this tournament.
