The baseball capital of Ukraine, Kropyvnytskyi city welcomed traditional spring preseason tournament “Kolodytskyi Cup”. The tournament was named after a famous Ukrainian sport figure Vyacheslav Kolodytskyi. He died in 1998 and since 1999 every year this tournament is held in his honor in Kropyvnytskyi city.

This year among the participants of the “Kolodytskyi Cup” were: Kyiv team “Dzhmeli”, “BioTexCom-KNTU” and “BioTexCom-SDUSHOR” from Kropyvnytskyi city. In addition, players of the “Play Global camp“ team (14-19 years) and U15 baseball team have also joined the tournament. Matches were held at the SDUSHOR 2 “Diamond” baseball field.

The “BioTexCom-KNTU” and “BioTexCom-SDUSHOR” teams met on the field during the final duel. The first ones won the match with the score 6-0. Volodymyr Bytyak was named as the best better. Illya Velykyi became the best defender. The title of the best pitcher was given to Georgiy Gvrytishvili. And honorary title of M.V.P. went to Kostyantyn Chukhas. Congratulations to the winners!
