In the Swedish Elitserien the Swedish Academy from Leksand entered the competition with a couple of mid-week games. After a 2-17 loss in game one against Sundbyberg Heat, the prevailed 10-4 over the Stockholm Monarchs. Stockholm then split a doubleheader against Sundsvall on Saturday. Sundbyberg beat the Leksand Lumberjacks twice to improve to 5-0 for the season.
