German Baseball-Bundesliga: Regensburg dominates Stuttgart on Friday evening
The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg is finding their rhythm again. After four losses to start the season Regensburg beat the Stuttgart Reds 11-3 on Friday evening in the German Baseball-Bundesliga for their third consecutive win. Niklas Rimmel, who was not available in the first three weeks due to other commitments, struck out eight batters in six one-hit, one-walk innings. Matt Vance, Marcel Jimenez and Alexander Schmidt had two RBI apiece. Marvin Brown lasted just for one-third of an inning for Stuttgart, issuing four runs (3 ER) on five walks to take the loss.
