Catcher Jonathan Wagner is returning to the Mannheim Tornados. He is transferring from the Mainz Athletics to the German Baseball-Bundesliga record champion. Between 2009 and 2013 he already played for the Tornados in the Baseball-Bundesliga. Afterwards he spent one season in Stuttgart and two in Mainz. With the A’s he won the German championship last season. However he will miss the start of the season after shoulder surgery.
