Korea lost its first warm-up game prior to the 2017 World Baseball Classic 0-4 to the «Yomiuri Giants» on Sunday. Korea managed just four hits against the «Giants». Won-Jun Chang got the start for Korea, pitching three perfect innings.

Their next exhibition will be on Wednesday against the «Yokohama DeNA Bay Stars». They are currently in Okinawa for a training camp. After returning to South Korea they will play more warm-ups against Australia and Cuba. Korea faces the Netherlands, Chinese Taipei and Israel during first-round play at the WBC.
