“Nada Split” has completed the double. After their victory on the Croatian Championship they managed to win the Euro Interleague Baseball 2016. In the final game “Nada” trashed “Apollo” team from Bratislava 7-0. 8 1/3 innings for the win were pitched by Trevor Caughey. He struck out eight. Two runs apiece were scored by Franko Vrlic-Kovacic and Marin Tadic. Pavol Teslik got charged with the loss. At the final four on Saturday, both teams had won their semi-finals. “Apollo” played Olimpija Karlovac team with the score 9-2. At the same time, “Split” beat the “Angels Trnava” (9-1).
