The player from Kropyvnytskyi city became the champion of Sweden
In the 2019 season, the Ukrainian baseball player Heorhii Hvrytishvili joined the Swedish “Sölvesborg Firehawks” baseball club. This year, the players competed at the Swedish “Elitserien” championship where the Ukrainian`s team reached the final games.
The “Sölvesborg Firehawks” team dominated over the “Rättvik Butchers” in the final with the score 11:3 and 15:0. Heorhii became the most prolific player in his team. He managed to score 5 points out of 15 for the “Sölvesborg Firehawks” team. Ukrainian player won one of the strongest European championships.
