The European Championship among U-18 national teams is held in Sweden (Sundbyberg) and Poland (Miejska Gorka) on July 8-13. Ukraine will play in Poland in the Pool-1 together with teams from Hungary, Russia, Slovenia, Poland, and Austria.

The 5 teams of the Pool-2 will participate in the championship at that time in Sweden. National teams of Great Britain, Switzerland, Israel, Sweden, and Belgium will compete in the international sports arena.

According to the results of the first game day, Ukraine scored in each of the last four innings to beat Hungary 15-3. Slovenia stunned Russia with a 9-5 victory. Austria shut out Poland 12-0 in five innings in the evening game.

At the same time, at the baseball field in Sweden were held 2 games. Great Britain edged out Switzerland 10-8 and in the second match, Israel beat Sweden 7-4.
