In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the Bonn Capitals improved to 12-0 for the season with a pair of wins over the Solingen Alligators.

Especially game one was an intense game between two playoff bound teams in the north. The Untouchables Paderborn and Dohren Wild Farmers captured two wins each as well. The Hamburg Stealers had to settle for a split against the promoted Bremen Dockers and already trail the top four by four games.

In the south the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe extended their lead with a sweep over the Ulm Falcons. The Munich-Haar Disciples and Mannheim Tornados also celebrated a two-win weekend. The duel between rivals Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and the Mainz Athletics ended with a split.
