Rimini has signed a second Dutch player for the 2018 season in the Italian Baseball League after Phildrick Llewellyn.

21-year-old left-handed pitcher Cerilio Soleana is joining the Pirates pitching staff. At 17 years old he had signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He played two seasons in the Dominican Summer League in 2015 and 2016.
