Unipol Bologna announced that they have signed Dutch outfielder Gilmer Lampe for the 2018 season in the Italian Baseball League.

The former Minor Leaguer is coming from L&D Amsterdam to Bologna. He batted .374 with five home runs, 34 runs and 29 RBI in 33 games for the Pirates this past season.

Bologna had earlier this week announced that they have re-signed Raul Rivero, Osman Marval and Jose Flores for next year’s campaign.
