The Dohren Wild Farmers announced a new starting pitcher in the German Baseball-Bundesliga.

The 25-year-old Darren Lauer is replacing Jared Ney, who concluded his active playing career at the end of the 2017 season. Lauer is also supposed to coach the youth pitchers with the Wild Farmers.

Lauer played in the United Shore and Empire Leagues in the United States in the past two years.
