The Brisbane Bandits announced that Germany’s Donald Lutz is returning for the 2017/2018 season in the Australian Baseball League.

The 62-game Major Leaguer will be playing his fourth ABL season after 2010 (with Canberra), 2015 and 2016 (both with Brisbane).

This year the 28-year-old played ten games with Leon in the Mexican League before trying unsuccessfully his luck in independent ball in the United States. He then spent the summer coaching in Asia.
