Yokohama and Fukuoka will compete in the Japan Baseball Series
Yokohama DeNa BayStars and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks won the Climax Series and will compete in the Japan Series starting Saturday, 28 October in Fukuoka.
Fukuoka won the pennant of the Pacific League posting an amazing 94-49 record. They suffered 2 losses in the first 2 games, but then came back to win 3 in a row. The Hawks are now going for their third title in 4 years. In turn, Yokohama will play the championship series for the first time in 19 years.
