Belgian Series: Borgerhout Squirrels won the Championship
The Borgerhout Squirrels have won the Belgian Series and won the Belgian Baseball Championship 2017.
They defeated the Brasschaat Braves 6-2 in the decisive fifth match of the final series this past weekend. In 2015 and 2016 the Deurne Spartans had won the title in Belgian Baseball. Last year the Squirrels lost in five games to the Spartans.
