Buffaloes Blagoevgrad have won the title in the Bulgarian Baseball League 2017.

An unpredictable, grueling, and tight Final Series between the local powerhouse and Athletic Sofia ended in dramatic fashion. Game 5 of the best of 5 series saw a single unearned run crown the 2017 BBL champion. Yassen Nedelchev pitched a complete game two-hit shutout while Rumen Lachev of Athletic took the unlikely loss with a two-hit gem of his own.

Buffaloes Blagoevgrad and Athletic Sofia had completed the Regular Phase of BBL 2017 with equal records of 11-3, splitting their 2-game set.
