The Netherlands and Italy will close out the 2017 season with a three-game exhibition series, the so called European Baseball Series.

The three games will be played from October 20 to 22 in Verona, Godo and Codogno. Italy already had announced their roster a couple of days ago. The Netherlands followed on Friday after the conclusion of the Dutch Hoofdklasse.

22 players were selected by manager Steve Janssen. On the roster, which is led by veteran right-hander Rob Cordemans are also minor league players Paul Brands and Oliver van der Wijst Severino, as well as Mike Bolsenbroek of the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg in Germany. 19 players are from the Dutch Hoofdklasse.
