The Haarlem Baseball Week sent out a press release to announce Guus van Dee as new president.

He was the president of the Haarlem Softballweek between 1995 and 1999 and also worked on the executive board of the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB) in the past.

The Haarlem Baseball Week is an international baseball tournament at the Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, Netherlands. It was first held in 1961 and since 1972, the Haarlem Baseball Week was organized every two years.
