The Zurich Barracudas downed the Zurich Challengers 9-1 and reached the Final with the Therwil Flyers.

It was the decisive game of the Swiss Nationalliga A semifinals. The Barracudas scored five quick runs for a 5-0 lead en route to the win. The Flyers had won their semifinal series against the Lucerne Eagles in four games.
