German Baseball Finals: Heidenheim scores early, ties series
The Heidenheim Heideköpfe evened the best-of-five final series in the German Baseball-Bundesliga with a 7-3 win over the Bonn Capitals in game two on Sunday.
Heidenheim came out scoring six runs in the first three innings for a 6-0 lead en route to the win. Eric Brenk homered for Bonn as part of a 3-for-4 performance. Justin Erasmus picked up the win with seven solid innings, allowing two unearned runs on five hits and a walk.
Game three and four will be played next weekend in Bonn.
