In the Dutch Hoofdklasse the semifinal round robin ended on Sunday with L&D Amsterdam and HCAW picking up wins.

Amsterdam shut out Curacao Neptunus 5-0 behind a combined six-hitter from Robin Schel, Daan Hendrix and Kyle Ward. Kalian Sams hit a pair of home runs, as he returned right in time for the Holland Series.

HCAW blew by the Hoofddorp Pioniers 11-1 in eight innings, blowing the score wide open with eight runs in the last two frames. Shortstop Delano Selassa went 5-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and four RBI for HCAW. Seb Visser drove in two.

L&D Amsterdam and Curacao Neptunus will play in the Holland Series, starting on Thursday at Family Stadium in Rotterdam.
