The Kropyvnytskyi city hosted final games of the Ukrainian baseball championship 2017, Pool “A”.

In the first duel the “BioTexCom-KNTU” team defeated  “BioTexCom – SDUSHOR” with 16-0 score. During the match, special attention was paid to the “BioTexCom-KNTU” team member – Gregory Gvritishvili. The baseball player managed to win two multiple-home runs, 3 HR and 2HR. It should be noted, that it’s the third home run stolen by Gvritishvili at his home-field in Kropyvnytskyi city.

During the second game, starter pitchers Andriy Boyko and Artem Lopata kept goalless draw for 5 innings. In the bottom of the 6 inning the “BioTexCom-KNTU” team broke a scoreless tie, but in back attack “BioTexCom-SDUSHOR” got the advantage and changed the score to 2-1 in their favor. In the 8^th inning “BioTexCom-KNTU” level the match to 2-2 score. In extra period the final of the duel was decided by Oleksiy Savchenko, who made squeeze and brought the “BioTexCom-SDUSHOR” team 4-3 score victory.
