In a make-up game of a rainout from this past weekend the Hoofddorp Pioniers shut out HCAW 11-0 in the Dutch Hoofdklasse semifinal round robin.

Dion Steijl struck out six in seven scoreless innings, conceding only three hits to lead the way on the mound. Oliver van der Wijst, Mervin Gario and Shurman Marlin hit home runs for the Pioniers. Marlin hit a grand slam in a five-run first. Ian Delmarre took the loss.
