On 28 May, games of the Ukrainian baseball championship, Major league, were held in Rivne city.

Matches between teams of the Ukrainian Major League – “Zahidnyy Vohon” (Rivne) and “Sokoly” (Chernivtsi) took place. The first game ended with a score 13:2, the second match stunned with a 12:0 shutout. The “Zahidnyy Vohon” team ranked the second place in the standings.
