The Munich-Haar Disciples announced that Don Freeman is leaving the club immediately.

Both sides agreed on the termination of the contract, as the 67-year-old has to attend urgent family matters in the United States. Freeman, who worked for USA Baseball and as MLB Envoy Coach in the past, joined the Disciples this offseason as their head coach. The past two seasons he coached the Mainz Athletics and won the German championship last year. Munich-Haar sport director Chris Howard is already looking for a replacement.
