Italian Baseball League: Bologna shuts out Nettuno, San Marino bests Rimini
In the Italian Baseball League two games were scheduled on Friday evening. Unipol Bologna downed Angel Service Nettuno 10-0 in eight innings. Rudy Owens and Filippo Crepaldi combined for a two-hit shutout. Osman Marval, Alessandro Vaglio, Alessandro Grimaudo and Filippo Agretti picked up two RBI each. Ronald Uviedo took the loss.
In the second game T&A San Marino prevailed 3-1 over ASD Rimini. A RBI single by Simone Albanese and a RBI double by Erik Epifano broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the fifth en route to the victory. Carlos Quevedo conceded just three hits, a run and two walks in six innings for the win. Jose Rosario got charged with the loss.
