What happen to El Llano in the Spanish league? I was thinking they got relegated, but I could be wrong. That’s too bad. Spain needs more teams outside the Basque/Catalonia area. Who is replacing them? I think they should really have a team in Madrid. It is interesting that Spanish baseball is more prevalent in those regions though kinda makes sense since those regions generally hate anything Spanish (Spain is a mess).
Well yeah, most people here in the States don’t realize how crazy diverse the different communities in Spain are, or for that matter the history behind each one. Also crazy that here’s all these teams in eastern/north eastern Spain, and oh also one team in the Canaries. The Spanish league has pro/rel, and Rivas are simply not good enough to make it out of the Primera Division A. The other Madrid-area clubs haven’t even made it that high.
