Shortly before their start into the 2017 season the Untouchables Paderborn announced that they have parted ways with head coach and general manager Stefan Fechtig. The club cited structural changes and giving new impulses as reasons for the coaching change. Fechtig, who also played for Paderborn, had been their head coach for nine years. German national team player Jendrick Speer is taking over as head coach. The general manager post will remain vacant for the time being.
