Preparing for the new baseball season “Hamburg Stealers” has added new player to the team’s roster. American, Dustin Ward has received one of the most important positions – pitcher. 27 years-old left-handed pitcher will play on the position of starter in the second game of double-header.

Dustin played in Austria during last season. After that he was a part of “Bergschenhoeck Orioles” in the second league, Netherlands. Ward reached an ERA of 0.62 in 72.1 innings there during the last season. Also he made at least 129 strikeouts with 25 hits and 29 walks.

“We are confident, that Dustin will strengthen our team on pitcher`s position during this season. He can become a certain guarantee of team’s success” – Jens Hawlitzky, the Head Coach of the team, says.
