The Swedish Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF) has appointed a new head coach for the Swedish senior national team. Sasko already coached with the Swedish national team in the past and is currently working with Sundbyberg Heat in the Swedish Elitserien. The federation also asked him to develop a strategy to identify and develop Swedish baseball talent.

Even though Sweden is currently not competing in U15 European Championships the federation also changed the coaching staff for the U15 national team from Oskar Vejkdal Thorsberg to Olle Öijen of the Karlskoga Bats. The team continues to be coached by Mattias Grimsoft, the U18 baseball national team by Björn Johannessen.
