More than a dozen European prospects were invited to the MLB World Select Team, which will be traveling to St. Petersburg, Florida to compete in the MLB Showcase Tournament from April 8 to 15. The European players will depart after the conclusion of this year’s MLB Academies Tournament in Sant Boi, Spain from March 29 to April 6. Three players from Italy, two each from the Czech Republic, France, Germany and Spain, as well as one apiece from Belarus and the Netherlands are on the roster.
