In the first of two exhibition games between these two baseball powerhouses Korea downed Cuba at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday. Game two takes place on Sunday. Korea took a quick 4-0 lead through three innings en route to an easy win over the record world champion. Ah-Seop Son hit a solo home run. Korea previously had lost two games against NPB teams during a training camp in Japan, while Cuba split a two-game set against Chinese Taipei in Taichung, Taiwan.
