Seven players are using the transfer window in Czech baseball to leave reigning Czech Extraleague champion to join Hrosi Brno. Michal Ondracek, Michael Kremlacek, Frantisek Vasourek, Brati Baresove, Jan Rovny, Christian Geidl and Adam Schauer will reinforce the roster for the “Hippos”.

However, Draci Brno has signed two players from the German Baseball-Bundesliga club “Heidenheim Heideköpfe”. Wes Roemer and Terrell Joyce will join the Extraleague team for the 2017 season. Roemer is a 30-year-old right-handed pitcher, who reached Triple-A during his professional career. Joyce is a 24-year-old third baseman who spent three seasons with the “Houston Astros” organization.
