«NC Dinos» prevail in Slugfest over Netherlands
The Netherlands also lost their second warm-up game against a Korean team during training camp in Arizona. On Friday the «NC Dinos» prevailed 10-9 in a slugfest. Kalian Sams, Nick Urbanus and Curt Smith hit home runs for the Dutch. Rob Cordemans, Shairon Martis, Tom Stuifbergen, Juan Carlos Sulbaran, Mark Pawelek, Lars Huijer, Ryan Oduber and Berry van Driel took the mound to get some innings in. The next exhibition game is scheduled for Monday against Gateway Community College.

I am impressed! How the Netherlands could fail in their second warm-up game against Korea? It is a nonsense for me! They are always considered to be the most powerful team. They should quickly take remedial actions. Otherwise, they will lose their name, as the most professional team. I am really disappointed. Because, majority of baseball fans are considered to believe, that they are the best in baseball. I hope, that was just the game of chance. And we will see their incredible victories in near future.
