A selection of the Czech Republic will be participating in an invitation baseball tournament in Taipei City in February. From February 19 to 28 the Czech team will be in Taiwan. The other participants will be a university team from Korea, Chinese Taipei and a team from China. Games will be played at Tien-Mou Stadium in Taipei City, which has hosted various international tournaments in the past. The tournament is a warm-up event for the 29th Summer Universiade, which will be held from August 19 to 30 in Taipei this summer.
