ISG/CEB hold Coaches Certification Course in Kiev, Ukraine International Sports Group and European Baseball Federation complete the second Level 1 baseball coach’s certification program in Kiev, Ukraine. Headed up by Peter Caliendo, VP of ISG/Former USA Baseball National Team coach, Kruno Karin Secretary General CEB/Croatia Coach and Branko Nenadic Croatian National Team Coach/Player.
The course included a pre-test to evaluate coach’s experience, classroom, field work, coaches being evaluated in a gym in teaching drills and a final 70 question test.
“ISG and CEB understand the importance of certifying coaches working with baseball players around Europe so the game may grow and keep players in the game longer, we will be expanding the program in Europe and increasing the levels to level 2 and 3 in the future” Peter Caliendo VP, International Sports Group.

Holding such event-it`s cool! Especially for such country as Ukraine. Event guests, international experience, all this stuff can a little bit promote the development of baseball in Ukraine. You know, I always thinking that Ukraine has no baseball at all… Sorry, but it is thought of most Europeans. But we are wrong. It turns out that baseball is not only in this country.There is even a good team! E.g. BT BioTexCom. Have you heard that they are winners of European Championship 2016? The combined teamU21. It was written about that the most of its members – it`s players BioTexCom. So, we`ll see what they can.
Well, I don’t understand whether this course is necessary for Ukraine! They don’t even have baseball. They have only one team. And it is “BioTexCom”. Their success had been made through their powerful sponsor. This sponsor specializes in the field of human reproduction. And their center is rather powerful inside and outside the country. Well, in this case, Ukraine doesn’t need to hold such course. All they need is to have such powerful sponsor that will help to develop baseball in Ukraine.
