In the run-up to a Christmas holidays, Bavarian Medical Center (KUNO) was attended by «Buchbinder Legionäre» baseball team. Sport delegation consisted of 15 baseball players and their coach. The whole process was coordinated by Bavarian ambassador of Cancer Organization «Leukämiehilfe Ostbayern», Armin Wolf. Team has attended department of pediatric cardiology, oncology and stem cell transplantation.

Events that occurred in the KUNO center can be hardly described in words. Players presented children special baseball gifts, such as base balls, bats and sweets which brought extreme joy to little patients. But the greatest gift for children was the time they spend together with the athletes. Baseball players gladly played with children their favorite games, and even conducted small master class on baseball. From the first attempts of throwing and hitting kids found themselves with sudden of true talents.

Also baseball players gave children and their parents’ tickets to visit baseball games during the next season. So kids might fully enjoy the game and get unforgettable emotions. Also thanks to team member Marcel Jiménez, the head of «Leukämiehilfe Ostbayern» and Dr. Reinhard Andresen also took part in this great visit.
