Catalan baseball team has won Catalonian International Baseball Tournament after defeating German team in the final with a score 7-4. Tournament took place on the “Municipal Carlos Perez de Rozas” stadium in Barcelona. Catalan team showed great game with a perfect defense, which helped players to receive gold medals of this prestigious tournament. The award of the most valuable player went to pitcher Jorge Balboa. The event was attended by the Principal Secretary of Sport in Catalonia, Mr. Gerard Figueras, sports commissioner council Mr. David Escudé, the President of the RFEBS Mr. Julio Pernas and the President of the Catalan baseball Federation Mr. Jordi Vallès.
